All Hallows Eve - Fri. & Sat. October 22 & 23, 2010

Don't miss two of the scariest nights of the year during All Hallows Eve, a unique event based onView this Event the darkest literature and events of the 19th century. The roots of All Hallows Eve are an ancient belief that during Halloween, spirits roamed the earth freely and that the everyday world and the supernatural world were open to each other.

During Naper Settlement's All Hallows Eve, the usually calm and quaint 12-acre museum village is haunted by a diabolical menagerie of spirits, vampires, werewolves, witches and otherworldly creatures of the night. Joining them are some of the most sinister characters and criminals of the 19th century including Lizzie Borden, Count Dracula and others who roam the grounds or take up residence in the historic houses and businesses.

A night of haunting creatures and adventures await you... so bring your camera for eerily fun photo opportunities. You never know who might be peering over your shoulder (or who might not be).

All Hallows Eve is rated PG-Creepy. Not recommended for children under 8 or those who might scare easily.
